Behind the Collection- State of Emergency
Share
State of Emergency wasn't created overnight, or overseas.
It is the result of years spent experimenting, making mistakes, starting over, and refining an idea.
Every garment in this collection will represent a different stage of change. Preparation, Destruction, Death, and Transformation. Together they tell the story of what happens when everything familiar is stripped away and something stronger takes its place.
Many of these pieces were dyed, airbrushed, sewn, and finished by hand in a small studio in Powell River, British Columbia.

Following the theme of the collection, it was important to embrace all the imperfections, and chase variation.
